I went back to Maho on Saturday. My boat spent the week in the water there as I needed to have some of my trailer bunks replaced & all re-carpeted. It was VERY windy with gusts up to 30mph. Had to fish protected shorelines otherwise casting was impossible. Water temps were up to 60 degrees and the smallies were up on beds in 3 - 8 feet of water. I had 18 fish, 17 smallies & 1 big largemouth + about 20 rock bass.
Early morning they were hitting a sammy but the majority of fish (including the largemouth) hit a Keitech swing impact.
Biggest smallie was a 3.5 & most were in the 2.5 - 3 lb class, the largemouth was 4lb 4oz and came late in the day. I also had a few fish take a LC pointer as well.
