I'm not having much luck finding a mechanic to fix my boat
Can anyone recommend someone within reasonable distance..or even a mobile guy..
Thanks in advance
I used Precision Marine in Seaford for a small job, but Dennis says they turn little jobs into big jobs so I am guessing they stink and will rob you, please read below.
As far as precision marine goes imho they are the worst marina ive ever used as well as the biggest crooks...heres my story...a few years back i changes the plugs on my boat, went to fish a tourny and my boat would not get on plane...precision was recomended to me so i used them...i told the mechanic i was sure it was a plug but he did not listen..after 2 weeks and 1000 bucks he said it was fixed...nope..i towed it up to fish a tourny and the same $h!t..this happened like 3 times...after changing multiple things...holding my boat for months and charging me thousands..about 4 grand to be exact the problem was a bad plug...now after basicly robbing me without a gun this guy had the balls to try and charge me anothet 1100 for droping my boat in the water multiple times to test the engine for a problem they couldnt find...f--k precision...before i was sponsered by barrys i used a marina in howard beach...not bad good work ok pricing but longggggg waits....gl..btw 6316120122 leave a message because i never pick up
I have a very good Mechanic that both my daughter and I have used for years.
He is fair and honest
Not cheap but also not expensive. Let me know if you hook up with him. I think he will come to you and if he can't fix it their he will tow it to his shop which is behind his home. He is in the "Nice" section of Greenlawn. LI
