I was having problems with a reel and it was suggested to me to replace spool bearings with Boca bearings after I did the problems I was having were gone. That was some time ago probably 10 to 12 years and they are still working like new!

Jp in all honesty I used to fish all daiwa alphas..I had like 20 of them with the 30 dollar bearings...to me the performance didn't increase that much and it made the maintenance a pain in the ass..

I'm sure I bought less expensive bearings I doubt I paid $30.00 and I have a few that I never used if they are the same ones you need then you can have them. I just have to find them.
