We pushed off the shore about 8 am and headed out in search of jerkbait crazy smallies. There was a light sprinkle that lasted an hour. It was cold, in the low 50's all day but the fishing heated up as the day moved on. Water temps were 52-53 all day. We caught over 30 fish and all were about 2 to 3 lbs with a few almost 4lbs. We caught them on a variety of jerkbaits, jigs, swimbaits, and spinnerbaits.
