Hey Joe, the pumps work! Just pay attention next time when someone tells you how to operate something that you're unfamiliar with and if you aren't sure you should ask questions! All modern Bass Boat livewell pumps work with an electric switch not a cable, the cable changes the waterflow on the flowrite valve, all electrical switches when operated break a circuit and snap into place like "rocker" switches!
If you can't take a little ball busting when you screw up, then don't screw up, because its going to happen!
