I Was Sitting Here Thinking About Fishing...I Know , Big Surprise. ( I Apologize For The Capitals...On Phone And Can't Figure How To Change It,).. I Was Thinking How I've Been Having Good Results Fishing Real Small Baits And Big Baits. For Example, I Love Throwing 10 And 12 Inch Worms, Big Swimbaits, Big Jigs And Craws, Etc And All Yielding Good Fish. And Lately I've Had Lots Of Luck With Smalll jigs And Tiny Dropshot Baits. Anyone Else Find Themselves Fishing Extremes?

"If you throw it they will come."

Location, location, location! Just like real estate location is the most important. You can catch 'em anyway that you choose if the bass are there. The size factor comes into play for numbers. If the bass are feeding on a certain size of Alewife, then duplicating that color and size should pay off. However, if the bass are in a feeding mood, they will bite. And because they are in competition with each other to survive, if your lucky enough to locate them, they will put the feed bag on and you will score multiple fish. As for the size, I do think that the smaller bait comes into play after a front passes through. The fish just seem to get finicky. So does size matter? It's all in how you look at it. However, if your not in the right location it does not matter what size bait that you are throwing.

Since we're on bait size, I also would like to know about some lines. Since I lost 2 nice fish at candlewood, I checked out my guides (suggested by Joe I) and all looked OK . So I decided to to respool again with high seas, well almost finished and the line broke. I had it with that crap. Can anyone give me any info on some other line that has work for them? I use 10&12 lb fluorocarbon.

If you do not mind using a flouro hybrid try Yo-Zuri soft. I use Yo-Zuri and Bass Pro xps flouro.

Bobby G... something don't make sense. I haven't had a single issue in 3 years. Love the line. Haven't heard about issues from many other friends using it. Keep in mind that friction is bad forALL fluuro. So if youre winding it thru some kind of tension on line thing it will heat up. Is it one particular spool or lb test? I will follow up with Hi Seas....
