I am out. I been listing to all the reports. Heavy bans of rain may start at noon. You may also have problems getting the boats out at 2 PM. DO you think we would be the only ones trying to get their boats out. Everyone on the lake will be looking to take their boats out. It could take a couple of hours to get the boats out. Also, what happen if they shut down the bridges to trailers?

I think our safty and the safty of our families is a little more important that trying to ride out the biggest storm that has hit in 100 years.

I would say good luck to those that go but instead I will say a prayer that you all make it back unharmed.

Considering that the weather forcasters dont know their asses from a tuna sandwich, this storm could hit us a lot earlier than they predict. This could cause severe problems with getting boats off the water, traveling through traffic and bad weather. The city of New York may in fact CLOSE all bridges and tunnels in anticipation of the potential damage. Wouldn't it be great if you got your boat to the Throgs Neck Bridge only to find out you cant get accross and have to spend the next 12 - 20 hours sitting in your truck with your boat behind you. Also, many of us need time to prepare and secure our homes for the storm.

I vote for cancellation and a re-schedule.
