How Big is this Bass? 13 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 63
Hi Guys,
Caught this bass yesterday morning up at our Summer home in Connecticut. I was in a Kyack. The fish took me for a short ride. I caught him on a Jersey Rig. No one was around to take a picture so I had to do it myself. I did not have a scale with me. However I did measure her. The fish was 22 1/2" long. My guess is 5 lbs. 7 oz. Any other guesses?

Muddy Pond on the CT/Mass. Border in North Eastern Ct. My Father in Law built the house. When he passed my family and two of Patty's brothers inherrited the house. It is a great Pond. I believe about 200 Acres. Some Big Bass over the years. I have caught a 7.2, 6.13, 6.5 and at least 9 fish over 5 lbs. Unfortunately there is a horse power limit of 5 H.P. I always used to think that it would have been a great lake to do a golf course like tournament the way that BASS used to. However there is no launch and the lake is limited to homeowners and residents of the town of Woodstock. Kenny and I fished it for a few short hours from the Crawdad. Now that I am officially a part owner I can plan some trips if anyone is interested. It is about a 3 hour ride, 2 1/2 if you are Leigh.
